Certificate of Global Fluency
The Certificate of Global Fluency helps students become informed, connected, and confident global citizens.
The Certificate of Global Fluency (CGF) recognizes Upper St. Clair students who demonstrate curiosity, understanding, and leadership in a global context.
This transcript-recognized program helps students apply their learning to real-world issues through coursework, global experiences, and community engagement.
We aim to cultivate globally competent students who can:
- Investigate the world beyond their immediate environment.
- Recognize their own and others’ perspectives.
- Communicate ideas effectively with diverse audiences, often in more than one language.
- Translate understanding into action to improve conditions locally and globally.
