Naviance Update

The Upper St. Clair School District recently learned that a class action lawsuit has been filed against Naviance. The lawsuit was filed in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, and the Court has appointed Kroll Settlement Administration LLC as the administrator of the proposed class action settlement. The Court authorized Kroll Settlement Administration LLC to notify potential class action members (individuals who logged into Naviance at least once during the period beginning on August 18, 2021 through January 23, 2026) of the proposed settlement along with their options.
Kroll Settlement Administration LLC has established the website linked below that explains the class action lawsuit and potential settlement. The School District encourages families of students who received this notification to review the information on the website regarding the case and the potential settlement.

The School District was not notified of the lawsuit directly and is not a party. Further, the School District did not provide or authorize the sharing of any student or family data in connection with this class action.
