Upper St. Clair High School welcomed 10 students and two educators – including the principal and vice principal – from Municipal Omiya International Secondary School in Japan from Nov. 11-18, 2025, as part of the schools’ ongoing sister-school partnership.

Upper St. Clair High School freshman Shun Watanabe earned first place in the Freestyle Audio (Composition) category at Demosplash 2025, an annual electronic arts festival hosted by the Carnegie Mellon University Computer Club.

About 40% of food in the United States goes to waste, while one in seven people face food insecurity. It’s a striking contradiction – one that members of the Upper St. Clair High School community are working to change.

A Veterans Day observance honoring members of all branches of the U.S. Armed Forces was held at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 11, 2025, at Upper St. Clair Veterans Park.

Six Upper St. Clair High School musicians have been selected to perform with the Pennsylvania Music Educators Association (PMEA) District 1 Honors Orchestra.

Upper St. Clair School District has been recognized as the seventh best school district in the United States and No. 1 in Pennsylvania for academic excellence and student outcomes, according to Money Inc.
